Yoga found Annie during a turbulent time in her life. After her mothers death, the feeling of grief, loss and sadness were overwhelming. Through yoga Annie found herself on a journey of healing, transformation and peace, both on and off her mat.


Annie believes that yoga is for EVERYONE. Through her teaching, she hopes to help students create more balance in their lives and to find compassion for themselves and others.
Annie has studied with Hiyala Indiga at Body Prayers for 15 years, as well as other local teachers.She did her yoga teacher training at Samasati in Costa Rica with Marianne Wells and is a Certified 200-ERYT through Yoga Alliance.
She is certified in restorative yoga and other healing modalities. Annie’s primary style of yoga is Hatha, and her classes focus on balance, proper alignment, flexibility and body and mind awareness.


Annie lives in Shoreview, MN with her husband Ron, and their beloved dog Shanti Om. They have twin boys, one who lives in Lino lakes with his wife, and one who lives in Heaven. Annie is excited to share her passion of yoga with you!

JILL BURTON

Jill happened into her first yoga class at the suggestion of a friend, hoping it would bring stress relief from corporate life. “I was skeptical, never being an athletic person, thinking perhaps I was too old and stiff!” But what she found was that yoga is a very individual practice, and one that truly meets each person exactly where they are – in life, and in any physical state.


“I came to yoga on a whim, hoping that I could ‘endure’ a few classes.” What she found was that yoga unites the body, mind and spirit. “I soon realized that yoga is a beautiful practice that has allowed my faith to deepen, and has helped me lose weight and keep those pounds off –  I love it!”


Jill is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). In addition to her 200 hour training certification achieved through YogaFaith, she also has training certifications in both Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga through the Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She is also certified in faith-integrated yoga through YogaDevotion.

Driven by a desire for a healthier body and mind, I have spent almost two decades immersed in the practice of Yoga. Now a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance, I help foster an environment and atmosphere where other people can strengthen and develop their own personal relationship with Yoga.


My aim is to share creative and energetic flows that awaken the inner strength, calm and happiness that reside in all of us. I welcome all levels, and hope to make each students needs feel heard as I adapt each class to the energy in the room.  ~ Lalainia

Pauline Froehlig
Reiki Master &
Holistic Healing Practitioner

While having a fulfilling career as an IT Director in corporate America, I embarked on a personal journey to heal and grow beyond the challenges that life presented. My quest for self-discovery and healing led me to explore a variety of holistic modalities, culminating in becoming a certified Reiki Master in 2012.

 

In 2022, I decided to retire my career in IT and corporate America to embark on a healing journey of personal growth and transformation. This path has been both challenging and rewarding, and while my journey is still ongoing, it has provided me with valuable insights and experiences. I am passionate about sharing what I’ve learned to help others navigate their own paths toward healing and fulfillment.

 

Now, I’m honored to offer Reiki and integrative healing sessions at Shanti Om Yoga. My approach is rooted in creating a deeply personalized experience for each client, blending Reiki with complementary techniques such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and EMDR-inspired practices.

 

Each session is tailored to address specific concerns, whether physical, emotional, or energetic. Beyond the session, I empower my clients with simple, effective tools and practices they can use at home to continue their healing journey until we meet again.
